Review on ACDelco 335 1040 Professional Alternator by Jordan Ford

On some work I have found that the positive battery cable has continuity to ground. I traced it and found an internal short in my old alternator. Instead of buying an aftermarket rectifier that fits an old used alternator, I spent a little more and got a brand new OEM one. The voltage is now stable and slightly increased. The old alternator was still charging and I might not have even noticed the problem if I hadn't done other work on the car. I ordered this alternator for a Camaro 90 and up because it has a stud for the battery charger cable instead of a small "shelf" that uses the bolt originally fitted to the Camaro 89.
