I have very sensitive skin and the plastic strap that came with my Alta is causing a skin rash; My skin just can't breathe with it. I used to buy a breathable nylon strap for my Alta, but after a few years of wearing it, the velcro came loose and I needed a new one. With the Alta out of production and currently on the dinosaur path it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a replacement strap so it was a delight to find this Alta compatible nylon strap. This Alta Nylon Compatible Wristband is said to be a soft nylon material perfectly compatible with the Alta and attaches to the wrist with Velcro. It is of excellent quality and very durable. The price at the time of purchase was quite cheap. I bought a black nylon strap. It's a little smaller than the previous one I had, which is fine, I just have to unclip it completely to take it off; never mind. I recommend this as a replacement for your Alta!
