THE HANDLES ARE UNSEALED WOOD
Maybe this should have been obvious when I ordered them but I was sure the wood would be sealed or treated somehow. THEY ARE NOT. I've had them about a month and already have had to sand them and use a mineral oil on them multiple times. I may have to just go ahead and put a varnish on them myself so I can put them in the dishwasher. Did not think I was purchasing a DIY project.
