Didn't realize it was for cleat free areas which is fantastic for maximum flexibility but I didn't have the large hole saw needed and the cleats were in perfect place. I also had 3" stainless steel screws laying around (they don't include wood screws, just machine screws for specific mounting to a cavity wall) so I made the stud installation much easier, just needed a small drill and used wood screws with stainless steel through the hole. my shower panel and my cement board. There are multiple holes and slots in the round flanges for screws to be inserted, making it easy to insert 3 screws into each stud. So the boltless design is awesome, but you will need a 1 1/4 inch hole saw that can cut cleanly through any type of wall.
