These lights are great for illuminating areas near light sources, they are not bright enough to project further than 5 feet. Installing the lights was pretty easy, but the wiring was a little tricky. These wires are very, very thin. There are only a few strands of wire no thicker than a strand of hair to work with. I was able to connect them to the main wire and solder them so they stay connected. It would be impractical for me to make a connection without soldering. My setup was for my mower around the front bumper to better light the side and lower front of the mower. It works and is good for the price.
