Works perfectly! for loading platforms and tailgates

Ideal as an OEM. I removed some Tri-Flow from the snaps and the mechanism that converts the downward motion into a pull motion. Now my tailgate opens and closes more smoothly than it has in all my 28 years. The old one broke because it became so stiff that I had to stand on the bumper with both hands. Now I can reach the bed and open the back door!
