First, the color is lighter than the photo. Given the deal, I'll give him a pass. I washed it upon arrival and the beautiful gold plated accent was gone. so don't get too attached to it. Overall it washes well and appears to be wearing well. Just keep in mind that this is a pretty eye-catching set. Colors may soften with repeated washing. I have 2 dogs so I was looking for a way to not wash the comforter every week. And that will likely mean that the brightness will gradually fade over time. I'll add to my first review that the seller contacted me about my review and am increasing my rating given the additional communication and very good customer service from the seller.
