Review on Watercolor Dream Quilt Set - Greenland Home GL-1408AMSQ, 3-Piece Full/Queen Size, White by Kim Fukushima

Update 11/07/2020 I don't love it anymore. After several washes, the colors became very ugly. The yellows are now a really harsh purple color. It also had a small tear where the strands had just separated. I'm not rough with my sheets. I washed it cold myself. Didn't expect it to deteriorate so quickly. It hasn't shrunk at all, so that's good. And it's still the ideal weight. I'm so sad because I've wanted this for a long time and now I hate it. i love the blanket That's the ideal weight for me. I thought from the pictures it would be a white background and the flowers would be lighter. I was very disappointed when I opened the box. But I put her on the bed anyway, and it was a lot bigger than me. The background is white and cream. The flowers have beautiful colors but a little more muted than in the picture. Haven't washed them yet so can't comment on shrinkage but I know every blanket I've ever bought has shrunk in size after washing. That is the nature of real cotton. I'll update my review once I know how heavy it is. I also have a queen bed and buy king comforters so I have an overhang that I like. Someone else said that the background color isn't on the front of the quilt. This also applies to mine. But I definitely like this background color. It's close enough that unless you hold it right up to the orange/peach blossoms, you probably won't notice it. I want to find leaves in the color of the back. I would recommend this duvet to anyone looking for a lighter duvet but still heavy enough. I'm not sure why, but I love the weight of quilts more than the weight of any other bedding.
