I wear quilted bedspreads on all our beds so our cats don't soil our comforters. I had a hard time finding a quilted bedspread that looked like our comforters. I bought two of these comforters. Pink flowers match pink flowers on our patchwork quilts. I wanted light blue in the trim but couldn't find a blanket of the same color in our quilts. It was the closest I could find. There's no blue in the comforter, but light sage looks good on my beds. The sage goes around the bottom of the plaid and at the top in a diamond shape. Very feminine look. On the back are only pink roses. Our cats and dogs love the material. I like it when they're not on our sheets. This blanket is lightweight but not flimsy. That's right. The blanket may be too heavy and will take forever to dry. I am very happy with this purchase.
