The sage border is a nice finish. It's nice to lie in bed in a terrible heat when it's too hot for a blanket. Lightweight but heavy enough to feel solidly made.

I don't know how they are washed in the factory but they smell toxic. I've washed mine 3 times with free detergent and it still smells so bad I can't sleep in it. The fabric is a little rough and stiff, but will likely soften over time. The sewing is of poor quality, a lot of protruding threads. The fabric is darker than expected, but this is normal. The patterns on the fabric are beautiful and this should help me not to wake up from the cold in winter.

I ordered a bedspread, not a full size quilt. The colors are very soft and the green diamonds are a soft sage green on a very light creamy yellow background. It appears to be very well made. I've washed it on the gentle cycle and let it dry which is what I do with all my duvets and quilts and had no problems. I bought this for a dog crate cover because the green color and style was perfect for my kitchen, but I would have ordered a larger size if I was looking for a nice, lightweight cover.

I wear quilted bedspreads on all our beds so our cats don't soil our comforters. I had a hard time finding a quilted bedspread that looked like our comforters. I bought two of these comforters.
