Review on Gasket: MAHLE OS32101 by Michael Nastanovich

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent fit, good fit

This gasket may need gluing to the pan to keep it in place. Use contact glue (I use 3M Weatherstrip). Apply some RTV to the block at the seams where the front and rear crank seal mounts meet the block. Otherwise, make sure the surface is dry. When there is oil on the surface of the block, the seal slides until it is pushed out and leaks. It is extremely important not to overtighten the screws. Tighten until the gasket begins to push out 1/32 inch or less. If you overtighten the bolts, the gasket will pop out too far and leak. steve ASE-certified master technician
