love that it attaches to a mirror! Accepts batteries rather than plugging into the mains, but I think this adds space minimization to the device and increases its functionality. I have a desktop device that can be plugged in, which is great, but I have to hide it and then pull it out when I need it. My desktop is being monopolized by other things. The tightening around the suction cup to hold it in place is awesome - I was so happy to see it on this device. I bought a 10x magnifier and the only problem I have is how close I have to get my face to the unit to see anything. I mainly use it to pluck my eyebrows. It's close enough to see fine hairs being pulled out, but overall it's a great product for the price. Perhaps you wouldn't need to get that close with lower magnification mirrors.
