I bought this mirror to bring in some more light when doing my makeup. The light on this mirror is very bright which I like BUT the brightness only lasts about 2 days before it starts to dim and then I have to change the batteries to restore the brightness. This is a very good mirror, although much smaller than I would like. However, it serves its purpose. The actual mirror is 5 inches. To see if it's right for you or not, take a compass and draw a 5 inch circle on a piece of paper and decide if it's good enough for you. Those were the first words I heard when I looked at myself in that mirror. :) This is a fantastic mirror but beware the shock (due to the detail of your face and skin that is revealed) and how easy it is to get carried away when looking at your pores etc. :) Was very easy to install. love that it attaches to a mirror! Accepts batteries rather than plugging into the mains, but I think this adds space minimization to the device and increases its functionality. I love it! After visiting a hotel that had a much fancier one attached to the wall, I bought this one. Ideal for tweezers. Also can spot any imperfection :(. When I put it on a countertop the suction works well, but doesn't always stay put when it's attached to a tiled wall. Works better when the surface is clean and wipe the plastic suction cup with a wipe damp cloth, as it will eat up the batteries after several hours of operation.

After months of looking at over $100 makeup mirrors I found this one on Revain and the great reviews prompted me to buy him. The reviewers were right! This is an amazing makeup mirror (especially for the eyes/brows) for a very reasonable $37. The suction technology that I haven't seen until recently is amazing! Great mirror, great price!

My mother-in-law gave me this mirror for Christmas. I liked it so much that when I accidentally left it in the hotel bathroom (my husband's fault) I forced him to buy me a new one. I noticed that they now offer one per extension. Would love to try that next time so I don't have to bend over the vanity to use it. Otherwise I am completely satisfied and would buy it again. Ideal for applying makeup, plucking unruly brows and for 40 year old eyes that can't see up close as well as they used to.

I've never had anything with 10x magnification so I was pleasantly surprised when I first turned it on and looked into my face, every little thing came out, I mean in a good way. Now I can easily apply makeup without having to strain to see what I'm doing. Of course it also shows all the little blemishes, but that's okay. It sits so comfortably on my large wall mirror and the suction cup holds it perfectly. Good product!
