Ideal for graphite drawings!
Surface quality, except it's noticeably thicker at 184 pounds. I will say that you will find that the "Vellum" surface of this heavy mixed paper is slightly "harder" than the "Medium" surface of the lighter weight sketch paper. - i.e. the latter is a bit "matter" in the finish and shows somewhat deeper darks with the Quick Stroke Test and the Side by Side tests. The paper looks the same and you can get really great results with graphite. β The attached photo shows a small graphite drawing on thick gray mixed media paper.
