Review on High-quality SPEEDWOW Dashboard Mat for Chevy Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Avalanche, GMC Yukon, Sierra (2007-2014) by David Ross

Satisfied but needs improvement.

I recently received this product. It was bought and received same day so it was great! If you have an older Chevy Silverado, in my case I have a 2010, you are probably aware of the poor dashboard material and the cracks that are so common. Since I don't have thousands of dollars to spare to install a new dashboard, I wanted to be able to hide the cracks and still look good. This cover is pretty good and I want to share my brief pros and cons. It is well packaged and easy to install. Although rolled up in the package, it lays flat fairly easily (I laid mine on my bed the night before installing). It will take some time to flatten and adjust the lid on the dash, but if you're patient it closes well. Velcro was not included in my kit and I think I may need to purchase it for the edges and some other places (don't think I need much). The cutouts on the mat for the side window vents on my 2010 Chevy Silverado are not very accurate. In fact I would say they cover about 50% of the vent. It looks like I need to make some changes in these areas. The front windshield vents are mostly clear, but I wouldn't say they're perfect; However, they are acceptable to me. The suede is nice, and aside from the lack of precision in some of the cutouts, I think it's a cheap purchase that helps hide those pesky cracks in my Silverado's dashboard. Probably 5 stars from me if the clippings were more accurate.
