Before buying I asked if these bulbs get hot after use. Several people answered no. So I bought. For those of you with the same question, I bought mine to use in the captain's lamp. After 40 minutes they were too hot to unscrew. Just to be clear, I'm not a pushover, in fact I like a very hot bath every night. But I definitely wouldn't buy them if you want to wear them for a long time and don't want to worry. If you're not worried about that, they look like neat lightbulbs.
