UPDATE: I wasn't very impressed with this bottle brush. My 25 ounce stainless steel bottles are still a little low on the bottom. BUT. It works well on surfaces I don't want to damage. I use it in my cast iron and non-stick pans. Cast iron, in particular, sometimes needs to be rubbed down without removing too much. This brush works great and is dishwasher safe. (Because who wants to try to clean a bacon-covered brush?) It might be better than a bottle brush with a slightly shorter bottle. So I tried on my trusty old traditional thermos. It's still very cumbersome. And there's no real tidying up until the end. Maybe longer bristles would be more effective? The handle is small. The pen's neck feels solid and is of course easy to clean.
