Good product for POS (Point-of-Sale) devices
Recently bought 25 Ecom ES201. The main features of this LiDE are that it is compatible with all OS versions and that it is powered by a USB 2.0 cable, which means you don't have to carry around a power adapter or find a place to connect it for use with laptop, tablet , smart phone. After following the installation instructions, installing the drivers before connecting the scanner to the computer or tablet, everything went fine and the scanner connected the first time. If you are looking for a portable scanner, the Ecom ES201 is for you.
