Decent connector but like many of them I found they didn't have two plates to clamp a stranded wire between. Instead, the screw bites into the strand and pushes the individual strands to one side or the other so that these strands do not disturb the current flow. This will make the connection points hot and there is a risk that the connector will melt. The only way I've found to alleviate this problem is to use a ferrule that is crimped onto each wire before it is inserted into the connection points. (shown in pictures) The tab holds the strands tightly together under the socket screws. I also recommend applying a small amount of antioxidant to each wire before tightening. This plug is not rainproof but works well in inclement weather if the box has a cap. A true rainproof connector is an expensive beast typically only found in marinas and fairgrounds. Once properly assembled I think this fork will perform well. If the connector had two plates that a wire could be clamped between (sometimes called "elevator terminals") I would give it 5 stars.
