I hooked this up in hopes it would bring the temperature of my K40 laser down a bit. That did almost nothing, the water coming out of the device got a little cooler. I hooked it up to a 12V 360W 30A power supply and it's clearly capable of handling the load of this unit. This is disappointing. The water coming out of the cool inlet isn't even as cold as my faucet. I'd say save your money, that's not cool at all. In my experience, that really doesn't help. Even the huge heatsink is near room temperature, with a slight surge, when I put my hand on the fan to feel the heat escaping. Overall I'd say it just doesn't work.
