Review on πŸ”§ Maximize Farrier Efficiency with High Country Plastics Farrier Stand by Cordany Grissom

Revainrating 5 out of 5

NOT plastic - steel!

Great booth! The base is diamond coated steel and the stand is steel, not plastic! It's very stable. It also has 2 attachments: the usual round one for working on the outside of the hoof and one (shown on a stand) to rest the hoof on to work to trim/pinch the gait. This special attachment gives you something to press on while grating. This quality is very important to me because my rental pony is too small to get a leg between my legs. Also, the lowest stand height is perfect for my 12.3 inch pony. Nice and fairly strong magnet on the side I use for the pickaxe but it holds heavier stuff. From time to time he reaches for the rasp, which is only slightly annoying. With this boner and Jaime Jackson's The Natural Trim, I'm getting my little guy's legs perfectly trimmed. No more waiting and paying!) Blacksmith every 6 weeks! Hooray! (Plus, my bangs love to be treated and pampered while I clip them :-)

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Too long to wait
