There are many screen protectors out there and they have saved me a lot of things since I regularly drop my phone. It also offers a privacy feature which is useful - I'm regularly on a plane, train or other public place where I use my phone to view semi-private information. It's nice to know that the neighbors can't see my screen. It's also useful at company meetings when I'm not reviewing company-related information. You don't have to look straight ahead, which gives some flexibility but limits privacy a bit. This protector will darken the display to some extent, but the manufacturer explains this upfront, and it's not as strong as they claim. Although the blackout was noticeable at first, I got used to it pretty quickly and hardly notice it anymore. I like that there are 3 of these in this cheap pack so if it's scratched or torn I can easily replace it with another.
