Power supply from USB host to DC input

Attention! When connected to a powered USB host, this hub will return 5V from the host to the 7-24V DC jack when no power is available. That is, if your DC power supply is off but the PC is still on, 5V will be supplied to whatever is connected to your DC power supply. For an "industrial" hub this is quite a disadvantage as you cannot power your system by turning off the 24VDC power supply and if there are high enough loads connected to your DC power supply the USB port will shut down your PC.
