Review on ๐Ÿ”จ RESQMEยฎ Resqhammer: A Cutting-Edge Emergency Hammer for Modern Safety by Nicholas Erickson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Extremely impractical to handle and use.

Extremely cumbersome to handle and use. The supposed "joint protection" is a joke. You cannot swing the hammer while holding it with your fingers going through the middle. Even the image on the product page showing a man smashing a window shows him driving a hammer in the middle. So what's the point of the split grip and "knuckle guard"? The belt knife is large and should be easy to use. If all you need is a seat belt cutter, this should work just fine as long as you don't use the bracket that comes with it. The mounting bracket is dangerous. You can't get your fingers around the shaft to get a good grip. This means that in an emergency you try to grab the shaft with your fingertips so that it slips off the holder. You have to maneuver by holding it from your fingertips to your fist. Good luck doing it in a state of panic without dropping it. If you're injured and your fingertips are bloody, you may not be able to grab the hammer to remove it from the included mount. Conclusion: It's a comeback. I'm sticking with the original 3 inch car escape key fob from the same company: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G6C18EC.
