I don't normally use generic or untested products on my clients cars or myself but I made an exception for this cheap turbo mainly because I wanted to spend some money Testing how cheap I could build a reliable turbo kit for my demo car in the shop K24a2 replaced by EM2 Civic. My family and I just returned from a 2000 mile round trip by car from Pennsylvania to the Florida Gulf Coast with no problems. Not only does it prove to be fairly reliable, it also delivers heaps of power and, more importantly, even more useful torque. At one point during the initial setup I increased the boost to 20psi and it was like a champ. Remember that I took every precaution when assembling and installing the kit, e.g. B. Filling with oil and using good quality oil and properly routed coolant lines. My only complaint was that the wastegate actuator didn't start opening until 12psi and couldn't control the boost below 20psi, so I had to add an external bleed because I don't want to work that hard every day. Otherwise, I'm totally impressed with the value for money. If you measure smiles per dollar, this is the best deal I've found.
