Good value for money

I wanted a webcam for my son to do distance learning/zoom meetings for school on a desktop pc (windows version of zoom is better than chromebook app). Of course, everything sold out early in the COVID-19 quarantine when everyone was working from home and learning remotely. I could only find really expensive webcams or nameless $20 cheap webcams that I didn't think would work. So we just used a Chromebook with a built-in webcam, and I figured I'd look for sub-$40 webcams. I finally noticed that Wansview has a $41.99 webcam and I already have one of their IP cameras, so I was inclined to believe it would work. It was already the last week of school when I got it, but I think I'll need it again in the fall. The webcam works just like the Logitech camera I had before that I gave to my husband so he can work remotely. You just connect it to your computer and open the video software you want to use (Zoom/Skype/etc) and it will be automatically recognized as a video/audio source. I've used it on Zoom and Skype and it works with no problems. The cord is just under 6 feet long and I placed it on top of the monitor. You can manually tilt the camera up and down, but not side to side. You can fold the stand up that it's lying flat on a surface like a table or on top of a computer tower (if you could get a different angle than what you could get with that on top of the monitor). . It's light but looks good. It's only been a few weeks, but so far I have
