As a long-time wheatgrass juice user, I am the proud owner of several cold-pressed omega juicers or masticatory juicers. "Chew" is a technical term, not a mistranslation. This refers to the process of extracting juice by crushing food with an auger and squeezing out the juice, as opposed to grinding it with microblades and using centrifugal force to capture the moisture that escapes. Low RPM, less heat (important for people who appreciate the antioxidant and enzymatic activity of juices), more efficient extraction and more versatility. For example, you can't efficiently run raspberries or romaine lettuce through a standard centrifugal juicer; but a cold-pressed (chewing) juicer does this excellently. Additionally, a masticatory juicer often comes with attachments for making nut butters, a pasta extruder, and the like. This newcomer to the field makes all cold-pressed Omega for MUCH less money. It doesn't have the extra bells and whistles the Omega has, but for basic cold press juicers it's a GREAT value.
