I bought these to replace my old side marker lights as the red lenses were missing. The new headlights are smaller and shorter so the mounting holes don't match the existing holes on my fender. I would have to enlarge the existing holes and then use shims to take up the extra space. The plastic wire cover is also shorter than the original. So if I were to mount them with the cover touching the trailer wall as intended, I would have to drill three new mounting holes. Striking number three is they appear cheaply made, understandable for the price, but not worth modifying my trailer. They will work for a trailer that has no existing lights. I suggest sealing the base with silicone as moisture is likely to get into the lighting area and damage it over time.
