Bought to power a pair of outdoor speakers. I connected it to my phone and Echo Dot. Both lead to the same problem: Bluetooth range is terrible: maybe 15-20 feet, even in open space. In comparison, a small portable Bluetooth speaker will work within a range of 35 to 40 feet, even if there's a wall between the speaker and the Echo. I tried removing the external antenna and the range decreased a bit. Unless Pyle support comes up with a miracle cure, I'll bring it back to Revain. Update: I contacted Pyle support and they recommended me to use this separate Bluetooth receiver: https://www.amazon.com/B06-Plus-Bluetooth-Receiver-Streaming/dp/B078J3GTRK/ref=sr_1_8 ?dchild= 1&keywords= bluetooth+receiver&qid=1609279365&sr=8-8 Ridiculous. Instead, I ordered a Fosi Audio BT20A, which is almost identical to this Pyle. They look like clones, but Pyle uses some simplifications: he leaves a couple of filter caps on the board (there's space, just not occupied), and Pyle uses a cheap unnamed bluetooth chip. Fosi has Qualcomm's Bluetooth chip, which has worked great so far. So I suggest spending a few bucks more and getting the Fosi version of this amp.
