Review on 🎨 Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Studio Set: 45 Half Pans for Creative Excellence by Kelsey Brown

I ordered this set on July 1st. Estimated delivery time was 1 month and I received it in 11 days. I was a little concerned that this set would have a lot of repeats, so I tried my best to do as much research as possible before ordering. This set contains 45 watercolor halves of Winsor and Newton Cotman. Here's the best answer I can give you: Winsor and Newton only make 40 colors in Cotman half-plates. So YES, THERE ARE 5 REPEATS. They repeat the 5 most commonly used colors from their point of view. This might not be the 5 you would use the most, but it is the one most used by most of their customers. I'll give you a link to Winsor and Newton's website which shows their Cotman colors and list below the 5 I've received in reps. I might list one wrong because I'm not entirely sure I remember. but it's the best I can remember. About color, packaging and other fun things. The delivery was incredible. I said above that it took a long time for them to say it, but this part of the world is also summer, humid and hot. I was very nervous about my rough colors when I received them. They were so beautiful and untouched by the heat. The box was not damaged. The case was perfect. All colors are wrapped in cling film so you can open them like a little Christmas present! They have been placed in the case in the order that the side of Winsor and Newton shows the color on the side I have listed below. I've unpacked each one and removed the repeats and I still have room to put the repeats back in and add a few more if I want. The lid of the suitcase is a pallet, and there is a removable pallet at the bottom that can be unfolded. (Personally, I don't like using these things because if you have liquid paint in the lid, how do you close it without making a mess?) There's room for a brush. If you have small brushes like mine you could probably fit 2! There is no brush in the set. (I was fine with that. I'm too picky about these brushes.) The colors are beautiful and vibrant. I immediately created a reference table and suggest you do the same. I think tonight my daughter and I will do a grid and see what comes up. So I sit in my armchair and dance with happiness and can't wait for the weekend to paint, paint, paint and paint. Now I just have to protect my child from it!
