I work in the garden and I promised my daughter I would keep my cell phone with me so I needed a holster which I was very afraid of as they are so big and ugly. This one is not big and not too ugly. I was hoping it would hold up in my pink pop socket case, but it didn't. The slide stand on the back of the case was stuck or something like that when I first used it and I think I broke it because now it slides out of the case quite easily. I thought this would work to hold the phone (like a pop jack) but it really doesn't. Oh well. The clip is unobtrusive (YAY!) and secure, but can be easily removed. After a bit of fiddling with getting the phone out of the holster, it detached just enough for me to be able to easily pull the phone out and quickly put it back in place. Used for gardening but will use mine in pink if I ever go out in public again!
