Review on CUSTONEPARTS Electric Fuel Pump & Install Kit: Perfect Fit for Multiple Models by Adam Gambel

I bought this fuel pump as a cheap replacement for my 2004 SeaDoo GTX. The first pump I received worked fine for about 20 minutes and then broke down. The fuel pressure drops and the engine will not start. I received a warranty replacement from Revain and the same thing happened. It ran fine in the water at idle for about 5 minutes, but when the engine needed more fuel and power the pump stopped working. I ordered a better quality Bosch fuel pump and the SeaDoo works great with no issues. Those cheap fuel pumps aren't worth the savings. Especially on a car where the pump in the tank is much more difficult to replace. Do yourself a favor and don't skimp on the gas pump. Premature failure will cost you a lot more time and money than using a higher quality pump like Bosch or Walbro.
