I am really impressed with this hair straightener. I have a short but curly beard and wanted to straighten my hair. I ended up doing one side but not the other to see the difference and was amazed that this cheap hair straightener worked very well. The power cord "pivots" too, which is handy when rotating the brush (you don't have to keep changing positions because of the cord). The only thing that bothers me is that there is a LOT of steam coming out when straightening. This is my first beard straightener so I'm not sure if it's normal for a dry beard to float when straightening. It doesn't burn hair. It could just be that I didn't know what to expect when straightening (since I've never done it before). It also comes with a nice holdall so it's a great addition. The brush is also well packaged. I would recommend it!
