my husband is very tech illiterate and is very much against the whole new breed of crude oil. Loves it for his beard, easy to use. There was no shouting from the bathroom to explain and show him how to turn it on and use it 10 times. He plugged it in and used it like a pro. His facial hair looks like a civilized Amish, not a homeless junkie. Good price! Happy wife.

I know it's for men but it's perfect for my hair. My hair grew out because of the short cut and now this is a short pixie cut perfect for me to get unruly hair that wants to stand out. There was no way I could use a hair straightener without burning myself. So it's perfect! Will definitely tell my dad about this product to save his beard! I love that you can put it in its little bag and take it with you anywhere Plus it makes a great gift for any man or woman, no matter what happens what hair do you have. Simple, easy to use, straightens my beard. It takes 3 to 5 minutes to reach maximum heat. It will have a slight baked-on odor for the first two uses, it is highly recommended that you do a few burns before actual use just to make sure the smell is not from a toxic chemical.

So the thing works fine. It really helps smooth out my shaggy beard a bit. My problem is that I've been using it for a few weeks and half of the black plastic teeth have fallen out. My beard is not that long. I burned my face this morning after pulling out most of the plastic teeth because they are supposed to keep it from making contact with the skin. I will go back and switch to another brand

It didn't straighten my hair perfectly but it was more my fault for using water based products, they would have been smoother if I used other hair products. It's easy to use and I love its size and the velvet travel case it comes in. An African American with a wavy and curly hair texture that is not too coarse, she brushed my hair very well and would straighten it out if I used a greasier product. It's good not to buy you if, like me, you're afraid of burning yourself while straightening a comb
