Our old dog had trouble with stairs. now he has no problems. In general it seems well done. Even the detachable plastic had a pull tab to make it easier to remove. I only had to clean the stairs with Windex and after a few days they were still holding up well. It even came with a roll of double ended faucet if you have some areas it won't stick to. I used double sided tape on the bottom and top steps. But probably not necessary. But it's good if you have kids who are bad at climbing stairs (in fact, kids are bad at everything). They are the brown version. In some photos looking UP they looked darker. They haven't moved an inch from where they were dropped. The installation took a maximum of 5 minutes on the stairs. Update: It's been over a month and they haven't moved and still look amazing!
