I bought this for my bedroom. I sleep with my toddler so I wanted to use it as a night light. He loves trees. I didn't know it didn't dim. It's not, and it's LIGHT. Even on red, the dullest color, it's as bright as it gets. A tree will illuminate the entire master bedroom. Just remember that there is no dimmer. It's not the product's fault, it's my fault for not reading better. I ordered a dimmer that claims to work with LED bulbs. I'll tell you if it works when he's there. Assembly took less than 5 minutes. I was afraid it wouldn't be strong, but it is. It comes with screws to fix the base. No tools required. The remote control works fine, no problems. Branches can be formed arbitrarily. This helped as I placed it in a spot where it could partially block the path, but I was able to bend the branches slightly to avoid this. I have a complaint about this tree. It flickers. what color is it included or setting. It can be very annoying and without that flickering I would give it 5 stars. Overall for the price this is a great deal.
