My son and I installed windows and we adjusted the seals like crazy. That night I woke up with a dream about some kind of plywood spacers that would fit the screws and planned to make them. Luckily I found these premade pads that a wise person thought of before seeing my dream. Many Thanks. They work great; I have all 3 sizes. The only problem is that sometimes they fall off the screw and get lost. Maybe a piece of tape is keeping them from turning over? The end result is that the windows are better protected with shims than with corner wood shims, there are fewer obstacles to the foam insulation, and we save at least about 15 minutes per window as a layman.
