Works well on 5GHz and AC side. Very fast speeds. BUT. I have a problem with the 2.4 GHz side. Many times a day an icon pops up on my computer (Wi-Fi 2.4GHz) indicating I'm connected but 'No Internet Service'. I disconnect and reconnect and it fixed it. This happens 3 or 4 times per surf night. My phone (5GHz) never drops out, but when I switch it to the 2.4GHz network, it also often crashes and says: Unstable connection." I've called ASUS three times and each time they die Reload firmware and reboot.I told them we did it but they still do it and tell me that if it happens again I may have to send it in for repair.Next time I do the Support calls, they say the same thing and it just never gets fixed. Many ASUS products, including ROG devices, have never encountered this problem before. Almost ready to give it up and buy a working one.***UPDATE*** --- 3 days later and another call to ASUS!Same problem!Again they want me to reload the firmware and reboot.I told them we did it just 3 days ago and now they think so it could be a problem with the router! WOW what an amazing failure remediation! So I have to send my router to them for T/S and any repairs, at my expense of course! and if all goes well the router will be sent back in a couple of weeks. I should have returned this to Revane 4 months ago when it started. Now we have to decide. Linksys, D-Link or NetGear? There will be no other ASUS!
