I am a professional painting company. After receiving these videos, I looked at some of the negative reviews. Thought I'd add a comment or two. All the rolls in my order appear to be free rolling. This is better than what I can say about the Whiz reels I usually use. They often stick. I haven't painted with them yet, but I'll say I can't "press" them much. In any case, it is best to simply vacuum the new roller. (By the way, it's not a good idea to use painter's tape to pull off loose fibers. This will only create more loose fibers.) And even whizz rollers will throw lint into the paint.
