Exactly What I Was Looking For!
As a native of So. Cal. transplanted to the Wasatch Mountains, I have to have a nice palm tree for Christmas, but the lights have to be very light-weight and last throughout the snowy winter. These lights were just right. The remote with a dimmer switch and 8 different light settings are nice extras, especially for the price. I only needed one strand for my palm so I used the other one to light up some dark spots in the room.
