I've been fighting with a slipped disc for a few months. The only thing that works for me is certain stretches (the Mackenzie method) and finally aligning the spine to the desired position. Layering does just that. Using it at night for 20 minutes really helped with lower back pain relief! It occupies a small area and is easy to set up. I recommend this in combination with the McKenzie Method exercises before doing anything aggressive for lower back pain.
