Disappointed in my experience with this product given the great reviews it has received. The extensions of this product basically do not have a shelf life. Most extension cords are made of cheap plastic and thin aluminum, which can also be foil. From the start, this package lacked a kickstand. Within minutes of trying it the first time, the grooming trimmer began to fall apart. A VERY thin piece of aluminum kept coming loose and falling out of extension. After properly reinstalling it several times in ONE hour, the edges of the aluminum began to chip until it could no longer be attached or wasted time. I also spent constantly brushing off any hair that seemed to be clinging to the aluminum and blocking it. his downfall. Then, during another use, on the FIRST fall of the clipper itself (falling from a height of 2 feet onto the carpet) the plastic hooks holding the attachments to the main blade broke off, rendering all of its length attachments virtually useless as they didn't stay more on the blade. If that's not enough, electric blades are a disappointment in and of themselves. While they do a great job even with thick body hair, those with thicker pubic hair will struggle with the blade. What's disappointing about all of this is that I have an 8 year old $20 clipper (from another popular brand) that still outperforms this product in durability and performance (with dull blades) and I'm watching how this product falls apart immediately after a few uses, unforgivable. TL; DR: Designed in Germany but made in China as stated on the clipper. Of course, there are better products that offer better value for money in terms of performance and durability. The only benefit of this product is the smooth blades that work smoothly for those with fine to normal hair (pubic hair maybe not so much). Just try not to drop it from any distance!
