looks like an internal part of the motor is loose

The fan was fine initially, a bit quiet, worked well. After more than a month of continuous use, it looks like an internal part of the motor has come loose. The fan blades started rattling like crazy. Moving the fan on the table, changing its position, pointing it in a different direction, putting it on a rubber mat didn't change much. Remove the front cover of the case, apply a few drops of elastic glue between the metal fan and the plastic base/motor. , fan blade screwed back on and reassembled, allow glue to dry. The fan is a little quieter, but only when directed towards the ceiling. However, something in the engine itself is rattling like crazy - very distracting from what was a quiet fan on day one. A lot of good things die when we try to blow air across a table. I do not recommend this product.
