I'm a big fan of Anker. In fact, I've already bought a HyperDrive hub that works great. Compared to the HyperDrive model, the Anker version might offer better quality at a lower price. But there is one key downside. And it's like you can't use this thing with any case or cover. It's a bit thicker than the HyperDrive version and has a ridge on the back (front too) that should tuck under the iPad. This is great for stability, but makes it so that you have to use the iPad without a case. If they did an updated version of this I would only buy it because I like the Anchor stuff. But I'm afraid I'll have to send it back. :(UPDATE: I should do the right thing from Anker and update my review. In my original review, I said this device does not fit Apple cases, but you just need to carefully align it before slipping the device onto the iPad I appreciate that I first felt it hit the edge of my Smart Keyboard Folio case and decided too quickly that it didn't fit, but I want to be clear that it is indeed compatible with the Smart Keyboard Folio as in stated in the product details As mentioned the quality is top notch and Anker's customer service is the best!My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is only for use with a fully bare iPad or a folio Smart keyboard is intended .
