I'm not sure if this is due to the weather but the product arrived damaged and came loose in a few places. My husband didn't mind, but it didn't hold up during the installation process. This continued and in some parts everything seemed to be working fine, while in others it just didn't stay in place. Parts that were stuck that day came loose the next day so we decided to request a refund. It is probable that the item should be better packed for shipping in hot weather, or a defective item was simply shipped.
