I love how easy it was to organize our inventory for new products coming into production as well as keeping track of what we are currently working with. It's also great if you have multiple manufacturing plants under one roof because there isn't too much overhead when using this software, but does require some training before getting started! There aren't many things about openbom that i dislike at all; however, sometimes certain functions can be difficult or confusing depending upon which department uses them. We were able to keep up with tracking materials across departments throughout different facilities. This helped us cut down drastically on manual labor costs while still maintaining control over everything being used within each facility. Additionally, by having access from any device, no matter where you happen to work, it has saved me countless hours trying to find information regarding material usage during outages due to natural disasters.
