I ordered 4 ton for my little 3 year old to ensure he has room for layers and lasts all winter. i love to land The color is lighter than in the picture. The sleeves are a good length and the cuffs don't let them fall below the wrist. It is suitable for a car seat as it is thin enough not to restrict movement and be unsafe. Both sides have inner pockets for mittens or small items like lip balm. Outside pockets can be used but do not close. Overall I am very satisfied with this jacket and can only recommend it. We live in an area where winters are mild, 30's to 40's, sometimes there are a few colder days. Not sure if it will be warm enough for colder temperatures.
