Review on 🛁 3M Clear Safety-Walk Tub and Shower Tread Roll - 1-Inch x 180-Inch (7640NA) by Tony Doolittle

After my wife slipped in the bath, I ordered a roll of 3M Safety-Walk tub and shower tray. It's essentially a roll of durable, translucent tape with a textured finish to improve grip. It's one inch wide and one hundred and eighty inches long, enough to complete an entire bathtub or a couple of shower stalls. Installation was easy but time-consuming: clean the area with Ajax, wash with soap and dry, degrease with alcohol and apply masking tape. After cleaning and degreasing, I dried the tub with a towel and finished with a hair dryer. I marked the glue points with painter's tape, measured and cut the 3M protective protector and finally attached the mesh protector by pressing firmly with a small roller. The instructions don't specify a curing time, so a family member had it up and running for an hour with a solid fit! I prepped the bath as above but this product didn't stick well and came off after a few days. It's been a few weeks now and this 3M protector is holding up well and has greatly improved safety in the shower. I think it needs to be changed from time to time so I have a spare roll on hand.
