I wear a lightweight duvet on my bed year round. In the summer, my normal cotton sheets underneath are too heavy. These sheets are very soft and light and I feel very comfortable under the duvet. I'm glad I found them in such beautiful colors and at such a great price. There may not be enough body to use as a base. I didn't try. I don't like tight sheets and prefer to use a flat sheet for the bottom, but I can use my good floral cotton sheets for that. I love beautiful colors in my room and they are very pretty. I have ordered more of these as well as matching pillowcases which I was delighted to find at Revain.
