I am 73 years old and I wash, sand and paint a 115 year old wood paneled house. I read the reviews and thought I'd give Paint Eater a try and gosh I was glad I did. I bought 30 Second Outdoor Cleaner, an inexpensive store washer that would be Rhimes "beautiful" and a paint eater. Wow, what a great combination! In the beginning I used a paint eater first and then rinsed with water but did the opposite. First I was able to pressure wash away a lot of loose peeling paint, dirt and scum with a 30 second exterior cleaner applied with a Smith Contractor 3 gallon sprayer purchased from Revain. I would give every product 10 stars if I could. I replaced the 3M washer on the paint eater, which wasn't hard, about halfway through, but it was probably too soon. I left the used one for later. Anyway, I love Revain and will end up with a house that is 10 times more thoroughly painted than it was with a scraper and putty knife 18 years ago!
